IISNA, through its Islamic Awareness Campaign, aims to eliminate stereotyping, misconceptions and racism and to promote civil liberties in Australia. It also hopes to achieve this by providing the Australian public and its Institutions with a better understanding of Islam by promoting a positive image of Islam and Muslims in Australia through education.
IISNA, through its Islamic Awareness Campaign, aims to preserve the Australian quality of life, promote respect for each other's differences, enhance understanding of Islam and encourage dialogue, primarily with the following organisations:
• Police
• Hospitals
• Schools
• Corporations
• Public Service Institutions
• Churches, Temples & Synagogues
• Media Organisations (Radio/Television/Print/Web)
