Assalamu alaikum warahmatullah,

The situation in Syria is getting worse. What is so devastating is that I met a blind refugee from there and asked him where he is staying. He said he is sleeping on the beach - his blanket is the sky, his mattress is the sand and his pillow is his shoes. There are thousands that are fleeing from the Syrian terrorist regime. The refugees that fled to Turkey are being looked after, however they are not being supported at a sufficient level by other neighbouring countries.

Alhamdulillah, the Australian community can help by donation. As for those brothers and sisters that have houses here in Lebanon, please give us access to allow women and children to reside temporarily therein. We will arrange and make sure your house is well looked after. No doubt the reward from Allah, the Most High, and the dua of the angels and the people you are helping, will be sufficient reward.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and he who finds relief for a hard-pressed person, Allah will make things easy for him on the Day of Resurrection..."
